How Can You Help?

 

Every year countless volunteers & supporters pitch in to plan & pull of our Annual Mi'kmaq Powwow. Our 2014 Powwow recieved over 7, 500 visitors. In order to prepare and execute such a large event it takes a lot of work. 

 

If you have an hour or two to spare and you want to help, please call our Powwow Coordinator Cassandra Beanland 1(709) 647-1370. We need volunteers to help us make this event the best it can be.

 

we could use help in areas like: 

> Feast/Meals

> Parking Attendants

> Mowing/Preparing the Sacred Grounds

> Fire Keepers

> Gathering Fire Wood

> Along with other various ways

 

Even if you can only spare five minutes, every minute counts.
